Best Wishes
It’s always a nice thing to do
to be the giver of good things
wishing always what is best
so that kindness will spring
Now when you receive kindness
you feel so much the better
it lifts your spirits no end
whether it’s audible or letter
What a picture this brings
to be honoured with this
just simple words ‘best wishes’
makes one feel had a kiss
We all need to be a giver
bringing always such good wishes
seek to be full of joy and gladness
for this indeed is most clever
