Best Medicine
L-aughter is the best medicine,
O-bliterating the agony;
L-et it heal the broken heart,
I-ncluding the soul so empty.
T-he best medicine is chuckle, it eliminates the anguish;
O-n the thirtieth of July, woes and fret diminish.
G-reatest medicine is chortle,
A-ny trouble cannot prevail;
R-efreshing your mind,
C-reating fun far from travail.
I-n man's deep loneliness, grief makes him fade in the wind;
A-im to smile during distress, laughter is the best medicine.
