Best in me

I would have my moments, and so would you,

but I would choose to spend every failing moment with you,

I never liked my hands until you held them,
I always hated my smile but it’s all I ever did when I was with you,
I hated my hair but you loved it,
I break eye contact easily, but for some reason,
when it comes to you I can’t look away,
when I was around you, love was all I could see,

sometimes I believe you brought out the best in me.
