Best Friends Man This Is In Process

She was supposed to be Man's Best Friend,
at least that's what they say.
I saw her in the pet store window.
I will never forget that day.
Very tiny and brown-from her face to her tail.
Trying to steal my heart at that she'd not fail.
So quickly I changed to becoming her man-
If you've ever had a puppy then You'd understand..
Now you can call me "my best friends man"
We grew old together-both with touches of gray.
