Best Friends

When I think about us I think about longevity Happily ever after definitely, we were destined to do this since we first laid eyes on each other but obviously we weren't ready. I walked away from past relationships when we had hardships because I refused to deal with the issues that came with that woman because I wouldn't let her stand in the middle, of my happiness. Sometimes sadness turns into madness, but I guess I wasn't that mad with my standards, every woman had a question what was I looking for in a woman, now I look to you, you were that answer. You're worth it because I know you won't put me threw anything I dealt with before, this has to be the sunshine because we both stood in the rain when it was hail storming, we weep many nights but we also know joy comes in the morning, so I'm up early in the a.m. thanking God for this blessing feels like history in the making, I always wanted someone who I had no doubts about and our love for each other was far past amazing, they called me crazy and said I wouldn't find what I searching for, but you knew all along, I guess that's what best friends are for
