Best Friend
This poem is a reminder
What it means to be Best Friend.
A Best Friend is that someone
On whom you know you can depend.
This person knows you inside-out
At least that’s how it seems
They accept you just the way you are
Know all you’re hopes and dreams.
They’re there for you when times are bad
To give their full support
And help in any way they can,
They never come up short.
They’re also there in times of joy
To share a laugh or two.
To help you make decisions
When you’re not sure what to do.
Yes, Best Friends are like family
It’s only right to treat them fair.
They’re important to our daily lives
That’s why they’re always there.
So give your Best Friend deep respect
Their love you can’t replace
For you to treat them otherwise
Would be a big disgrace.
