Best For Last

They say one man's trash is another man's treasure & they treat you like garbage bags full of invaluable nothings While I treat you like A pirate chest full of priceless undiscovered riches & I bask in the glory of my wealth But others look at me as a poor man But I don't care I want to lay my face on you mahogany skin Catch whiff of your scent with my senses Grasps by the sensation My body explodes Erupt with utter passion You make me feel a way I never felt before & your all I need & I never want more You say all the right things without a clue So Im going to say the best for last Your the one for me & Im the one for you I want you, my priceless treasure chest To open your chest Let me in If I didn't have enough already Give me more reasons to love you Allow me to lay a finger on you & feel the smooth slickness of your soul So if, God willing We are able to be together For the rest of our lives When our hair is the color of storm clouds & tombstones & our bones sound like skin sliding against plastic I will recite this poem & see the look on your face & as you smile The wrinkles near your eyes Look like a willow tree praising proudly against the wind You are the one for me It's always been you The one I was looking for I'm glad I didn't settle for a lover Who's a little more boring but a lot less picky Because those love filled conversations I never would have known Would be missed Lastly you are the best thing that has ever happened to me You are the butter to my bread & the breath to my life & as this journey continues I pray that the mistakes we made Brings us closer together You make me feel a way I never felt before & your all I need & I never want more You say all the right things without a clue So Im going to say the best for last Your the one for me & Im the one for you
