Best Babysitter You Will Ever Have
Rainbow girl! They told the young harried couple of a new born babe
She’s the best babysitter we have ever hired, down here in the shade.
If you have a mess, she will clean it up while your baby sleeps soundly.
Wait until you have her, her talents will completely astound thee.
Rainbow girl grabbed their baby out of their arms and said
Go have some fun, while I put this little darling to bed
They did not have time to tell her about the colic, she treated them mean
But when they returned their baby was asleep, and their house was clean
Let’s have her every night, the tired mother said to the dad
Sounds good to me, he said, ready to have more fun than the pad
Rainbow girl was booked up years in advance, maybe twenty-two
The fact they had gotten her to come at all was a bit of a coup
