Beside the Stream

dust to dust and ash to ash I wish that i could bring you back from your waist a silken sash lies here drying on the rack twirling beneath the chandelier our mirrored hands entwined if only i could hold you near I wish you were still mine... where the sun shines, flowers bloom if only this was always true strewn on walls about the room are photographs of me and you wandering past the ancient trees we would pick trailside flowers moments shift just like the breeze my tears are now my showers everything has beauty, when we’re doomed a statement absolute for you a chest under the windowpane holds your treasures old and new shining pearls and glimmering jewels scattered on stacks of paper you never followed this worlds rules your presence hangs like vapor they say all things they fade with time but some things never do the stream flows gently and bells chime where you bid the world adieu golden sparkles ripple in light strands of waving hair? I knelt there taking in the sight: you in your watery lair

It is so sad you are so lonely. I'm sorry. Take courage and continue penning jewels like this. 7!!!
