Bereavement

It feels like darkness has smothered your light
An amazing soul has lost their fight
Anger and grief cover tears and pain
You feel Earths loss is Heavens gain
They smiled and your life was complete
Now you stare at an empty seat
Don’t suffer guilt over what should have been done
Remember the days of family fun
Wings they have grown will help them to soar
Your love and remembrance means so much more
Take comfort from sadness we all have to grieve
Grow with your family an intricate weave
