Beneath the Waves
Remember when you lost me,
Before the sea tides tossed me
Into a watery grave?
You thought that you could scare me,
Deciding then to dare me,
How I, you could not save?
Stranger still, it sadly seems,
You will see me in your dreams,
Crying 'neath an ocean wave.
