Below Zero

I almost came close to believing that i knew him.,

yet there was more in him than i could have imagined.

We did the Hi's and the goodbyes,

yet there was a dark side in him.

It was his past.

"I fell in love with her" he said.

"Then out of the blue one day, she said she didn't love me back."

The halls were empty and they seemed to stare at us because it was

just the two of us. Unless you want to count the lockers.

There was a moment of silence.

A pause.

Before I had the chance to recap my thoughts he said,

"And then one day i shot her"

His face had no expression.

His soul seemed harder than a rock.

At the same moment ,

the earth seemed to have stopped moving

for the temperature of my heart was below zero
