Beloved Birthday Memories

The aroma of mellow gardenias, the dance of a ballerina, the sound of an Italian concertina Purple, shaded, toe shoes that glide across a stage with footlights and an applause of praise. Tender thoughts to remember, in winter, Spring or even a blustery, Midwest September. Birthdays that my parents bought me corsages for, and many relatives with presents at the door. Birthday dinners on ivory and gold linen with candle lights, such elegance.leaves, my soul, sparkling bright. Decades later, I recall, my little daughter, Maria born three days prior to my birthday, was the most blessed gift from God~overall! I may be eight-five today, but I still am full of life and to plan to play, full-out, till God calls me home on my final day. 3/13/2023

Jo, 85 is great. As I said before I miss dancing the most.not many make it this far. It’s a true gift. I buried people in their twenties, thirties on up. Life, Jo is a true gift. The life in heaven will be glorious, I am sure. Maria is the best any Mom could choose. As Rush said, he was “talent on loan from God” and so is she! Appreciate your kindness, a poet sent me a gift certificate from Amazon. I was floored, Jo! Blessings. Pangiexo

Happy Birthday Pangie, your mind is razor sharp for 85 years young, and you maintain the desire and drive to play full out til the end with your wonderful daughter, and I honestly hope you enjoy many more years together, online life indeed can be phoney and pretentious as you said to Paula below, but no more than some of the real life characters I’ve met in the past, brilliant poem I enjoyed the brief trip down memory lane, cheers David

David! I hesitate about stating me age. But, why not? Celebrate I made it this far with no frigging virus or despicable test kits. I have no time for horse hockey fears. And yes, real life people can fool any of us. The worst I knew was a murderer ..who killed his wife on Christmas.he presented himself as jolly and fun. After he blew her brains out on Christmas Eve, the police found a trunkful of weapons and dynamite in his car, that rotter! Pictures online and personal info are bad ideas. As anyone can copy your face and use it for illegal use. I had a murder threat on my life when I first came here, she still writes here. Gads.mostly, I have met loving people here. Trolls as well. Boo.and those out to humiliate me. Triple Boos…They are arrogant twits who fool many. Not this old dame!Thank you, sweetness. Hugs and crumpets! Pangie xo

Yes, Paula, you are right about memories. My happiest are doing Improversational Comedy, being a stand up comedienne and raising my daughter. My poetry is voluminous.and covers my life. Theatre was my second home. No 85 more! I think not. I grew up in a sane world that sadly worsens by the day. You, like me are earthy and honest. Online life? Pretentious and phony, Hugs, Pangie xo

Right on Sunshine. It seems my life began when she was born.I have had a great life with her. She’s very intelligent. Compassionate to all and a great wife and Mother. An Angel, really. Thank you Pangie
