Believe In Yourself

You were never an outsider
You just couldn’t find your way in.
You were never meant to come in last
You never knew how to begin.

Some days were worse than others,
Some things you had to work out.
The way you knew to work on things
Was to lie, cheat and shout.

Learning to blend with the family
Was the hardest thing for you.
But once you realized who we were
It was the one thing you wanted to do.

Now that things have settled down
You’re learning to believe in yourself.
Just remember our family is here
To back you in your new life.
