Believe In Me

No matter how hard i try
i keep falling
i just get back up
with scraped knees
and try again and fall
and soon
all i can feel is bone shattering on the ground
as i fall my last fall
the pain is excruciating
i cant breathe
i just wish you were here with me
to make me smile
and let me know that its ok
that i can do this
just one person
to believe
in me
just one person in this lonely world
to make me believe what i cant see
im having a hard time standing
on shattered knees
the world is going black
the light is fading
i try to reach it
but its too far out of reach
i just need one person
to help me believe what i cant see
a person there for you no matter what
or where or when or how
just one single person
to believe
in me
