Belief in Our Nation and Way of Life

Raised to honor this land so free,
To hold the Constitution faithfully.
In youth we learned what it would mean—
A test of values, firm, unseen.
The framers’ work, both bold and wise,
Born under burdened, watchful skies.
They faced oppression, stood their ground,
And shaped the rights we’ve since been bound.
Two sacred texts their vision gave,
To serve the people, not enslave:
The Constitution, strong and clear,
The Bill of Rights we hold most dear.
No single voice was meant to reign,
No iron will, no binding chain.
But power placed within the hands
Of citizens across the lands.
Through discourse, vote, and careful choice,
We shape the future with our voice.
Fair elections, justice true,
A government accountable to you.
No ruler crowned, no throne to claim,
But servants sworn in duty’s name.
And if they falter, courts stand fast
To guard the laws that long should last.
This system built to still endure,
Through trials faced, intentions pure.
A living promise we must keep,
Not one to yield, nor one to sleep.
So, if you love this country still,
Then speak with strength, with guided will.
Remind those chosen, those who lead,
That freedom answers every need.
To stand, defend, uphold the claim
Against all threats to what remains—
With faith and truth, both firm and plain,
A sacred trust we must sustain.
