BEING TWENTY

Being twenty again would be a thrill,
guess that will not happen.
As a child there were many things,
I did not understand.
The green monster jealousy was one,
thinking it was a child's thing.
This would live on in my twenties.

Great to see you here. Glad you found my "BEING TWENTY" write to be, nicely penned. I thought being an adult would cause the child things to go away, like jealousy. Boy was I wrong. Guess some kids Never grow up and out of it. So Sad... You are so right, the green monster jealousy is pointless. Have a very blessed/fun day writing away....................

Young age is fun. Jealousy and other vices creep up in mind, but you have to overlook it.

I had jealousy crop up at a strange time! I thought through it, got on the other side of it and was truly happy for the other person. Crazy how that can happen.
