Being Transparent

Who gave men the knowledge that they wore no clothing? Think God in those days 'walked' in long flowing robes? In the Garden of Eden was God naked too? Did He shame you on purpose (please pardon my probes)? 'Word' says the Creator made man in 'His image,' And both 'male and female,' created the two, To be 'sensual,' 'sentient,' new by degree, With a choice to choose life or death! Man in a zoo? With pleasure created us, called His work good but Creation carnivorous! Was food then tame? Man designed to eat flesh and not live just on plants, In God's Garden of Eden men killed with no shame. They understood death too for God, in fact, warned them That to eat of one tree would bring adverse result? Can you feel their surprise, did they think snake new God? Or was snake just a metaphor, intellect's cult! To trust talking snake wouldn't be my first choice though, No hint other animals showed such rapport, Curiosity banished, or love for own thoughts? Those who question God honor Him, pride is a whore! True shame then is born from not trusting the Father? Our nakedness clear when we stand in His shade? When you reach for infinity, who paved the way? You might think of the price for your love that Christ paid! It's footnote perhaps, but two trees are important, Tree of life man could eat from but not wisdom's tree, Their choice, live life forever or die seeking knowledge, Do you think God is proud of us? That's what I see! Long Tooth August 31, 2018
