Being the Best
We are all imperfect, encumbered by our flaws
Be it of mind or body, regardless of the cause
Struggling for perfection, confronting each new test
Within us burns the fire to be the very best
Trials are set upon us, some of which we fail
Yet we strive to rise above, suffer our travails
It is within our nature to stand upon the crest
And know that there is something that we do the best
I, like you, endeavor to find that thing that I
Can always do with great success every time I try
So I've decided on that which my efforts I'll expend
If I'm to be the best at something, let it be as a friend
