Being Invisible

   Being invisible
   Takes a special skill.
   To avoid all the crowds
    And be there still.

   Momma says, " Stand tall!
                          Don't hide against the wall.
                          No one will see you,
                           Or hear you at all."

   She doesn't realize that's what I do.
Being invisible is the same as the flue.
   Everyone avoids you
   Like a stinky shoe.

   With any kind of luck
I won't have to join in.
   Just step back
   And fade within.

   With any kind of luck
   The party will end!

Tough one, blending in can be a pain, not blending in can be a pain. Mind you, reversing your car into a pole in front of ten women slagging you off. Sort of wished I was invisible that day.

That is true, on the other hand choosing to be invisible may lead to opportunities others may not consider. Thanks for reading my poem.
