Being Here
being here
with my daughter
is very special to me;
She is a constant
in my life which I will forever and always
cherish and adore.
my words blend into one
with my feelings
as I write to you
like hawks soar.
Upon each heavy sigh,
she graciates words like
simple tonal flowers,
whereas eacheverytime I see her,
I walk between two towers:
between the unseen
and the dark,
I cling to catch that spark
to set apart
the mundane from the insane,
the unfettered
from the ingrained,
I reach to you
for the unknown,
not just alone
or overblown,
but to finally feel
what can be
between two at a distance,
if not only
for an instance.
