Being Country Is Easy To Do
The city folk never knew how easy being friendly is to do.
They did not seem upbeat, but rather blue.
They walked past us without a wave or a hi.
We rolled our eye, we rolled our eye.
The city folk did not understand that collect we should
When people are in need, or there is a death.
They did not know that to give makes you feel good
What the heck? Oh what the heck?
The city folk do not invite strangers to come play.
They do not know that at the end of the day
When you live in the country you must stand together.
That there is joy in communing in every kind of weather.
The city folk were slow to come around, and warm up.
But now they go mudding with us, and share their cup.
They love it here, and we love them too.
Being country is so easy and fun to do!
