Being Black

They say go to the back, or we don't serve your kind. Feeling the fight was in vain and we back in time. Looks of disgust, with prejudice eyes upon me. Yeah I'm BLACK and so proud to be. Tell me it's a minimum and think I'm not suppose to blink. Racial slurs, cruel intentions with minds that don't think. Standards of such come with a price. I'm fed up with this mess trying to be nice. Yeah I'm BLACK and so proud to be. Like it or love it because I'm always going to be me.

Quendralyn I like your Poem. We first met at age 8 and attended Scott Elementary School. You introduced yourself as Franchon from Macon, GA. We are now 44 years of age. This is LaTanza from Hollywood Courts.
