Being Ashamed of One's Husband.......
There are women who travel through life in constant disguise,
Portraying an image of having it together,
while they live in a quagmire of lies,
By themselves, it's a task easily done,
What people don't know is, that many have
secrets at home,
Husbands they are ashamed of,
and keep in the shade,
because they are unable to fulfill their fantasies,
or win them accolades,
So, they project,
living in a hail storm of hypocrisy,
dabbling in both worlds endlessly,
From singlehood to married
they wax and wane,
Sometimes the wedding ring accidentally
gets tossed down the drain,
All these rouses in the name of getting ahead,
They continue to play their roles,
when they are truly sorry that they wed.
