Being a Mom
Being a Mom doesn’t come with instruction.
It doesn't have a reward system
And most of the time you give more than you get.
Being a Mom has made me break and has made me strong.
It brought heartache and pride
And more often than not, I fell asleep with my pillow wet.
Being a Mom comes from deep inside one's soul.
Having a baby doesn't define us,
But enduring every struggle and every tiny victory does.
Being a Mom is the hardest hat I've ever worn.
It is selfless and exhausting
If after falling down a thousand times, we still get back up.
Being a Mom means you will feel a special kind of pain.
A hurt that has no words
And still we will love with our wounds wide open.
Being a Mom is not for the faint of heart.
It requires us to be steadfast
Even when love in return, is most often left unspoken.
