Being 63

Restricted movements
Stagnant thoughts
Blinding clarity
Though oft so short
Timeless memories
Make me smile
When I was young
Oh....so agile
My mother's words
Now pass my lips
Seem now so wise
Once I thought so glib
I wonder now
In year's to be
If my kids will recall
Their memories of me.
