Beholder

You're the silver in my tongue,
The swag in my walk,
The puff in my chest,
The roll in my rock.

The shine in my sun,
the bow in my rain,
the leaves of my trees,
the gold in my grain,

Timber of my voice,
the ring of my bell,
the tune in my song,
the loud in my yell.

You're the chirp in my cricket,
the count of my sheep,
the warmth in my blanket,
the rest in my sleep,

The strength in my arms,
The brains in my smart,
The speed of my run,
The beat in my heart,

Fire in my belly,
Beholder of my eye,
You’re the love in my life,
The star in my sky.
