Behold the Majesty of Jehovah
Behold the Majesty of Jehovah
As He comes into sight,
Surrounded by His glory
With angelic hosts on the left and right.
The trumpet blasts out;
Lightening and thunder cross the sky.
His majesty radiates all about;
Home is almost nigh.
His majesty shines forth
Like a thousand suns of gold.
The earthly sun can’t compare
With His glory beams so bold.
Every eye shall see Him
Except the wicked dead.
For they will rise later;
The second resurrection instead.
The incorruptible dead
Are first caught up in the sky.
From death they are made immortal,
In the twinkling of an eye.
All see the Majesty of Jehovah,
Even the wicked too;
Struck dead by His glory
For sin precludes His majestic view.
Jehovah’s beauty and majesty
Is so powerful and great.
The righteous filled with joy
Behold Jehovah’s majestic state.
They sing the Song of Moses
And join the banquet repast.
Behold the Majesty of Jehovah
Who has come for us at last!
