Behind the Mask

"Shadows are never needed to hide in.
it's the smile that's hidden,yet still in
                       sight.
fake laughter, hurt & attitude that will
                  never mend.
eyes that live in dark & don't care
if their heart never see 's a light.
A suit with a tie go's with being rich.
words are not needed to "show & tell."
a conscience will always avoid an itch.
it's their own private world they smell.
Behind the mask that smile has turned
                  in to a grin.
most likely it has been there all along.
everyday is a masquerade that lets the
eyes & ears listening in pretend.
can't fight when their the only ones who
                   are strong"
