Behind Every Smile
Behind every smile,
Is a tear waiting to fall,
Behind every smile,
Is a secret too deep to share,
Behind every smile,
Is a fear of failure...
Behind every smile is,
Someone who is suffering in silence,
Behind every smile is,
A person aching to be held,
Behind every smile,
A person wanting to be loved...
The person behind all these feelings is me,
The world ignoring me, is cruel, sad, depressing,
My question is, who will reach out their hand?
I will be in the soft falling snow, waiting for you..
