Behind Every Face

In most modern advertising
Beauty is the ultimate goal
Thin bodies, and baby soft skin
Aging must not take its toll.

But hopefully as our minds open
We realize the face is but a key
To open up what’s most important
The very soul that sets us free.

If we want to make the world
A more kind and loving place
We must see deep within the soul
That lies behind every face.

Such wise words, Betty, and very beautifully expressed in your fine poem, 7 :)
