Behind Every Corner

Behind every corner is monster unseen Lurking in the shadows, following me But when I look, it suddenly disappears My brain still tells me there's something to fear Like Schrodinger's cat, it is both there and not Until the box is finally opened, and I can relieve my thoughts I stare at the floor and try not to see The predators that roam, my worst enemies With their hand around my neck I try to fight back But no matter how hard I try, it's strength I lack So I beg and pray to the Goddess above To turn me into an unreachable star beloved
