Beguiled
Is it a sin to belong, yet yearn and long to be somewhere else?
The euphoria of anxiety, surges my hearts rhythmic contraction,
Compressed chest, laden breaths,
The timeless pouring of honey that mounds,
A comforting voice in a lonely place,
Fondness is warmth,
The awkward feeling of a blush,
My stubborn conceit, it won’t allow me to make any apologies!
For this sense that has been impressed upon thee,
Is mine alone and your to wonder,
This is not an obsession, in which one is hidden, as to stock.
It’s the admiration of a crush.
