Befriend Everyone
Befriend everybody, make them like you
Do whatever you can, dance the old soft shoe
Make a peapod want to give you her brew
Embrace a cactus, loan a lizard your dew.
You never know when you will need a friend.
Some people do not have one to the lonely end.
Befriend everyone, some day you might need someone to help you.
In the meantime, you had better practice that old soft shoe.
