Before the Letters Form

I want the dripping edge 
of my words
to be raw,
like wind in a hurricane
like creation’s power before it acted
like anger before attack
or lust before love
Intuition before reason
Samson before Delilah
Meaning before definition
Epiphany,
—before the letters form

I like the meaning in this, the imagery is most effective and dramatic. It is almost any writers wish which you effectively convey - I know I have felt this way, a desire for my pen to burn like that ... I usually don't typecast or put my writing into a tight box so to be consistent, I just keep picking 'ballads.' I'll take a look at forms. Thanks again,
