Before I Went To Bed

Before I went to bed tonight,
I just had to let you know,
that these feelings for you are strong
and will always continue to grow.

Before I went to bed tonight,
I thought you should hear
that every email I get from you,
I hold each one close my dear.

Before I go to bed each night,
I have you on my mind.
I think of the sweet things you say to me.
You sound sincere and so kind.

I hope this letter makes you happy,
if only for a while.
But I'd gladly write a million,
just to see you smile.

I know this sounds crazy,
like I've lost my head.
But I had to let you know,
before I went to bed.
