Before Dreams Came True

An open mind,
And a hopeful heart...
Keeps dreams alive,
As time falls apart.
Holding onto memory...
When all are meant to fade;
Sitting next to you,
As our future's made...

The secret to happiness...
Exists not in a book;
It lies in the memories,
Fulfilled by a look.
It never felt real...
Until my eyes saw you;
Life unveiled only plastic,
Before my dreams came true.
