Allen Ginsberg wrote 'Howl' 65 years ago
  Before almost anyone was woke

Read his poem carefully, my friend
  See America's downfall stoked

Was this a poem or a novel? I will look this up also. As I follow your poems today, I am making a little list of things to read and words to figure out, so thank you for keeping me "on my toes"

Ginsberg was no kid when he wrote that stuff either. Scary! :) gw

I'll have to check out this poem by Ginsberg, Gershon. Was speaking to Joyce Johnson yesterday and she fears the end of the world may be coming. Sadly, I have had the same thoughts. Well done, my friend. Hugs, Carolyn

Perhaps just the 'end of the world as we know/knew it.' Somehow, the world goes on, with or without us. I know many folks in their 20's, very optimistic, full of get-up and go. Amazes me, sometimes, but I was the same way, of course. Cheers, Gershon
