By the time I caught my breath he was walking away- I yelled thank you- he turned and said It happened to me some years back and walked away- I called out as he went out of sight, to exhausted to even stand. To this day I don't know if he was a ghost or just some kind man

I was lucky if there was even one person on the entire lake, but I was up to my armpits when I started yelling help- within 10 min. a man in his 70s said calmly `catch this knife`I told him I was stuck real bad- he said I know- cut off you waders, and tossed me the knife- I did- and he reached out his walking stick and pulled me out.

almost an hour went by and the water was to my chest- I had mud to my knees and couldn't move-I tried everything- The lake had 4 fingers dug out a half mile each and 40 ft wide- to promote spawning I guess?

Bees love me- I hate bees- I was chased by a king bee in AK through thick brush while carrying 2 fishing rods my hip waders and an Igloo ice chest for a quarter mile- when it got within 5 feet I ran around a tree- it did the same and then off we went again- near the end I lost it by dropping my gear and running as fast as I could. an hour later I was up to my knees fly fishing- didn't realize I was sinking in the mud past my ankles- on top of that the lake was rising 5 inches every 15 minutes
