Beer
These precious
ounces of beer,
To me you are so
dear.
As I reach into your
icy home,
In hand you are with
me,
As I roam.
Either on a city
street,
Or you join me for a
beach retreat.
I pop you open,
You begin to foam.
Ever so enticing,
My thirst is
quenched.
With your crisp,
cool liquid,
My soul is drenched.
Thank you for your
therapy,
But lets not make
haste.
For I will see you
tomorrow,
Same time and place.
