Been In Worse Places

the days go by and im still here
the world is bright and full of cheer
my eyes light up every day
i love my life and want to stay

and i wouldnt have it anyother way
cause ive been in very bad places
and now i am alright
im happy and free
and i love you as you love me

the sky was bright all day long
and now the stars shine to this, wow
im loving life in an unusal way
and i dont want to fly away

i wouldnt have it anyother way
cause ive been in very bad places
and now im alright
im happy and free
and i love you as you love me

once upon a time
things were very bad
i didnt want the life i had
but now things changed
im in a brighter place

and i wouldnt have it anyother way
cause ive been in very bad places
and i know what makes us
and now im am happy
and feeling free
and baby i love you
as you love me

This is a very beautiful way to express success Jay - in this write you really seem to demonstrate a respect for the hardhips, and hard places that now make this life worth enjoying - I don't think the fight will ever end, I don't think the fight is meant to end my friend - battling for these oft times brief moments of pure happiness seems to be what life is all about - J.A.B. %

Ahh, this wasnt a very well crafted piece, but yes, in this moment I was happy, and I felt that all the hardships were worth it in the end. Its hard not to struggle against that sometimes, but I still appreciate all Ive been through as its made me who I am. And It has also, blessed me with some of the most beautiful writes ive ever felt.
