Been a While

Been A While
_______________________________

I haven't written in so long,
I know it's a surprise 
but here I am once again
with the light back in my eyes.

As I sit at this computer,
I contemplate each verse
still they come so easily
something I don't rehearse.

I hope my words find you well,
the way they used to do
because I don't write just for me
I also write for you.
