Dang it, I am late for church library and did not get to finish my congratulations to everyone. I will stop here because I will remember to take up where i left off with my good friend Ralph!! I adore my own beef veggie soup. I use ground beef in mine!! Congrats on your win.

I use diced chuck and a little Ox tail or beef neck bone, lots of flavor. It has a tomato base with carrots, peas, string beans, lots of corn, onion, celery, cabbage, diced potatoes and a handful of egg noodles thrown in at the end. One of the secrets is a tablespoon of sugar to bring out the sweetness of the veggies and salt and pepper to taste. Now I'm hungry! Thanks Andrea, great contest.

Thanks Tim, One of my favorite memories from my youth. I still use my mom's caste aluminum pot to make it in. The pot's older then I am.
