Bedtime Contemplations




         What if I, perchance
         never do awake?
         My solace in eternity
         to partake.

         Existing in a realm of God,
         not of men.
         Joy, gratitude, to be His
         Forever angel, then.

         Heavenly body, golden,
         that truly shines,
         Finally, in His uuniverse,
         Utterly divine!

         Living in His world must be
         so glorious.
         Experiencing the fateful joy,
         of being humbly victorious!

Hi, Christine.. I don’t ever think I got three faves in a row ever! I am not the swiftest poet here, nor the funniest nor the one who is really hot with imagery. I find it easier to write poetry or exist in the world and write humble poetry.. your words bowlled me over. A pOTD? Others are far more impressive. Paula, as I said to Regina, a FAV? Wow, thanks to you, as well.. I posted it and said to myself, nobody will like this. Well, what a surprise.. I don’t know how long it takes to find one I like.
