Becoming An Angel

Father there’s many Angels
In heaven and earth too
There’s one in particular
I like to mention to you

She’s the one with the halo
That shines extra bright
An Angel of kindness
That took time in my life

She showered me with tenderness
The kind a mother would give
Because of her
I then had a reason to live

My fear and emptiness
Faded away
It was she who made me
What I am today

Friend I’ll speak directly to God
And the world I will tell,
“It was you who became
My Guardian Angel!”
