Beckons the Darkness

And in the end as we count the cost is when we see how much we've lost for the life we live is anything but full, poor as the rich man who lost his soul.

Your words do not apply to everyone though. My life is very full nd that applies to many others. You are writing with iambic tetrameter, but the word "anything" breaks the flow a bit. I think that if you replaced it with "nought" it would improve it. I do hope this helps. Best wishes

Wow. Short but extremely powerful. Looking back, when it is all over, will we be so full of regret as to how much we could have and should have done? Yes, yes, I believe so. For it is one excuse after the other to not do many things, so many things. A profound write in my mind. Outstanding Wilfredo. Love, Shar
