Because You Gave Me Life

Because You Gave Me Life “So I commend the enjoyment of life, because nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany him in his work all the days of the life God has given him under the sun.” Ecc 8:15 NIV Because you gave me life I will eternally be grateful You gave me a chance— To learn of your presence blissful I know that life isn’t always So easy to get through But because you gave me birth You’ll provide every breakthrough. Because you gave me life And formed me in the womb Continually watch over me Your love is my heirloom When trials make my life difficult I turn to you for power To get through each trial Hour by hour. Because you gave me life I will always praise you For the opportunity to live With service to you in view. I’ll always depend on your power From your Heavenly storeroom Whilst my life on earth Prepares me for the Bridegroom. Copyright © 2007-2012 Maureen LeFanue www.maureenlefanue.com
