Because of you

I'm afraid to try
Afraid to feel 
Afraid to cry

Because of you

I'm afraid to think
Afraid to breathe
Afraid to blink

Because of you

I'm afraid to hope
Afraid of these  feelings
Afraid I won't cope

Because of you

I'm afraid to sleep
Afraid to dream
Afraid to weep

Because of you

I'm afraid I must  
Be afraid to love
Be afraid to trust
