Because of My Loneliness

I don't want to go back to the pain I use to feel
when I was alone, before I gave you my heart.
I don't want to remember the tears I use to cry,
before you were here.

I don't want to remember the rain and how it felt
as it streamed down upon my face, covering me.

It's something I can't forget,
being caught in a storm,
because of my loneliness.
