Because of Laughter Today
Nowhere to go swirling around as I lie here pondering
what’s next to be found
Cautionary happiness expelling thoughts in my head training my plot that’s starting again
I’m transfixed on blocks of hopeful things that will turn
expressions in my corridor of pleasantness to return
I’m sorry I’ve left you walking alone I’m trying to catch up with you
trailing behind my heart beating bold
Hopefully together with you sooner than later lingering by my side is our daughter full of laughter
Together again the three of us strolling through our own world we live in
day after day chapter after chapter love ever after
